I really enjoyed my stay, especially since it was just a few steps from Aces High Aviation Gallery and a quick walk to beautiful parks like Wendover Woods where I could stroll and unwind, making it perfect for my weekend adventures.

During my stay, the cleanliness left a lot to be desired, particularly in the bathrooms where mold was visibly present. Noise from the main road was persistent, making it challenging to sleep, though secondary windows did help. the breakfast options lacked variety and the service was slow, leading to frustration when trying to enjoy the morning meal. The corridors and some shared areas appeared neglected, with unkempt carpets and inadequate cleaning that detracted from the overall experience.

Charming stay

Stayed in a double room with a roll-top bath and shower. Quality toiletries. Free sloe gin was a fun perk. The bed was firm, which I liked, and the room had a flat-screen TV, kettle, and cozy carpets. Staff offered superb service. Breakfast included freshly baked pastries and fresh milk. Nice outdoor area too.

our stay at bel and the dragon at red lion was absolutely wonderful. the staff were so friendly and welcoming. the cozy pub atmosphere felt like home after our long flight. the breakfast was the highlight, with a delicious mix of pastries and a hearty english breakfast. it's the best base for exploring the chilterns!

i had a really great time at bel & the dragon! the staff were super friendy and helpful. The personal touches in my room were amazin. loved the complimentary sloe gin and high quality teas in the room, made me feel special. breakfast was tasty and filling, with nice gluten free options too. the shower was strong and toiletries were luxurious, felt like a 5-star stay!

the only downside was that the room was a bit small for my liking and the food in the restaurant felt a bit pricey.

Had a fantastic time with friends! We played golf at Chartridge Park and enjoyed the local scenery. The staff were super friendly, and the breakfast had plenty of options. Rooms were comfy and clean, definitely a step above other places we've stayed. Perfect for our group get-together.

The only downside was that some of the communal areas felt a bit worn down, like the stairs and landing, but it didn’t affect our overall experience.
